This is where it all began…As the oldest commercially available biodegradable polymer in the U.S., DURECT’s line of LACTEL® Absorbable Polymers has been meeting and exceeding customer standards for quality for nearly 20 years. Our polymers have been used in numerous FDA approved medical devices and pharmaceutical products. We hold patents relating to the use of biodegradable polymers for improved processes in drug delivery and the manufacture of biodegradable medical devices.
